Our policies

Fees & payment

  • We have an annual registration fee of $25 per family.

  • We offer a 10% discount per sibling.

  • Tuition is due on the 25TH of the month for the following month.

  • Tuition is paid month to month.

  • The fee is based on four classes a month.

  • For months in which there are five classes, no additional fees are required.

  • CC follows this schedule to take in consideration days the studio is closed.

  • If CC is closed on the day of your class, we will allow a make-up.

  • CC does not prorate for studio closures or missed classes.

  • We must have a credit card on file to process tuition.

  • Declined card fee is $5.

  • There will be a late fee of $5 per week added in the event that tuition is late.

  • If your tuition is more than 30 days late, your account will be put on hold and no classes may be attended until it is brought up to date.

  • Our SEASON is August 1- may 31.

  • we have a summer session of June and july.

  • Makeup classes Makeup classes must be done within 30 days of your missed class.

  • Please see front desk and we will help you find a class that is appropriate for your level.

  • Cancellation policy We have a 30 day cancellation policy.

  • Your happiness is our goal, so we offer a full money back guarantee if you are not satisfied with your experience at CC within the first 30 days.

  • Please fill out a withdrawl form ONLINE IF YOU CHOOSE TO CANCEL YOUR CLASSES.

  • If they choose to pursue a career in dance or another field- the lessons they learn in our studio with develop their character and stay with them for a lifetime.

Class policies

  • Your time is valuable to us just as our time is valuable to you.

  • Please be sure to arrive 5 minutes before class dressed and ready to go.

  • Please be sure to stretch prior to class to reduce the chance of injury as well as maximize our time together.

  • Keep an eye on instagram, email and via text message for the most recent news.

  • In the event of an emergency closure, you will receive an email with details.

  • This is our second home and yours as well, so please keep it tidy.

  • Please no chewing gum during class.

  • There is also no food or drink allowed in the dance rooms, with water being the only exception.

  • It is the responsibility of all dancers to pick up after themselves and dispose of their food/trash.

  • Lost items will be kept for ONE month in our lost and found.

  • Please remind your dancer to check it weekly as remaining items will be donated.

  • Carolina Collective is focused on the importance of communication and growth for each dancer.

  • Please avoid interrupting the teachers and choreographers during classes if you need to discuss something with them.

  • If you have a question or any issues arise please schedule an appointment.

  • There are no cell phones allowed inside any of the dance rooms unless you are filming.

  • When you are attending class please leave your cell phones along with your personal belongings in a cubby.

  • PARENT OBSERVATION WE INVITE PARENTS TO VIEW CLASSES ONLINE VIA ZOOM.

  • Photography Students at Carolina Collective, LLC automatically grant permission for us to use your image for photo and video for advertising/promotional purposes.

  • CLASS PLACEMENT Class placement is subject to change.

  • Dancers will be assessed once a year and class placement is solely determined by the discretion of the Carolina Collective staff.

  • DUE TO COVID-19, WE MAY NOT ALLOW PARENTS INSIDE THE LOBBY AT THIS TIME.

  • I affirm that I, as well as household members have not been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 30 days.

  • I affirm that I, as well as household members have not traveled outside the country or outside of our area to designated “hot spots” for COVID-19 infections within the past 30 days.

  • I understand that Carolina Collective Dance, LLC cannot be held liable for any exposure to the virual or any other contagion caused by misinformation on this form or the health history provided by each client.

  • I understand the above symptoms and affirm that I, as well as the household members, do not currently have, or experienced these symptoms within the past 14 days.

LIABILITY

  • YOU HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT STUDENT’S USE OF CAROLINA COLLECTIVE, LLC STUDIO FACILITIES, SERVICES, EQUIPMENT OR PREMISES, INVOLVES RISKS OF INJURY TO PERSONS AND PROPERTY, INCLUDING THOSE DESCRIBED BELOW, AND STUDENT ASSUMES FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR SUCH RISKS.

  • IN CONSIDERATION OF BEING ALLOWED TO ENTER THE STUDIO AND/OR TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY RELATED STUDIO EVENTS, FOR ANY PURPOSE, WHETHER OR NOT AT THE STUDIO, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, INSTRUCTION OBSERVATION, USE OF FACILITIES, SERVICES OR EQUIPMENT, OR PARTICIPATION IN ANY WAY, STUDENT AGREES TO THE FOLLOWING: STUDENT HEREBY RELEASES AND HOLDS STUDIO, ITS DIRECTORS, OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS AND AGENTS (“STUDIO PARTIES”) HARMLESS FROM ALL LIABILITY TO STUDENT AND STUDENT’S PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVES, ASSIGNS, HEIRS AND NEXT OF KIN FOR ANY LOSS AND/OR DAMAGE, AND WAIVES ANY CLAIM OR DEMANDS THEREFORE, ON ACCOUNT OF INJURY TO STUDENT’S PERSON OR PROPERTY, INCLUDING INJURY LEADING TO THE DEATH OF STUDENT, WHETHER CAUSED BY THE ACTIVE OR PASSIVE NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE OF STUDIO PARTIES OR ANYONE ELSE, WHILE STUDENT IS IN, UPON OR ABOUT STUDIO PREMISES OR PARTICIPATING IN ANY WAY IN ANY STUDIO EVENT WHETHER OR NOT AT THE STUDIO.

  • STUDENT ALSO HEREBY AGREES TO INDEMNIFY STUDIO PARTIES FROM ANY LOSS, LIABILITY, DAMAGE OR COST STUDIO PARTIES MAY INCUR DUE TO THE PRESENCE OF STUDENT IN, UPON, OR ABOUT STUDIO PREMISES OR OBSERVATION OR PARTICIPATION IN ANY STUDIO ACTIVITY WHETHER CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE OF STUDIO PARTIES OR ANYONE ELSE.

  • YOU REPRESENT (A) THAT STUDENT IS IN GOOD PHYSICAL CONDITION AND HAS NO DISABILITY, ILLNESS, OR OTHER CONDITION THAT COULD PREVENT STUDENT FROM DANCING AND/OR EXERCISING WITHOUT INJURY OR IMPAIRMENT OF HEALTH, AND (B) THAT STUDENT HAS CONSULTED A PHYSICIAN CONCERNING A DANCE AND/OR EXERCISE PROGRAM THAT WILL NOT RISK INJURY TO STUDENT OR IMPAIRMENT OF STUDENT’S HEALTH.

  • SUCH RISK OF INJURY INCLUDES (BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO): INJURIES ARISING FROM DANCE AND/OR EXERCISE ACTIVITIES AT THE STUDIO OR AT STUDIO RELATED EVENTS; INJURIES AND MEDICAL DISORDERS ARISING FROM EXERCISING SUCH AS HEART ATTACKS, STROKES, HEAT STRESS, SPRAINS, BROKEN BONES AND TORN MUSCLES AND LIGAMENTS, AMONG OTHERS; AND ACCIDENTAL INJURIES OCCURRING ANYWHERE IN STUDIO FACILITIES.

  • STUDENT FURTHER EXPRESSLY AGREES THAT FOREGOING RELEASE, WAIVER AND AGREEMENT IS INTENDED TO BE AS BROAD AND INCLUSIVE AS IS PERMITTED BY THE LAW OF THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA AND THAT IF ANY PORTION THEREOF IS HELD INVALID, IT IS AGREED THAT THE BALANCE SHALL, NOTWITHSTANDING, CONTINUE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT.

STUDENT/PARENT/GUARDIAN HAS READ THIS RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY CLAUSE, AND AGREES THAT NO ORAL REPRESENTATIONS, STATEMENTS, OR INDUCEMENTS APART FROM THIS FOREGOING AGREEMENT HAVE BEEN MADE. THEY have read this form in its entirety and agree to abide by them. I have a clear understand of the promises/obligations and will abide by them.
